We study how plants interact with the biophysical environment, and particularly how leaves adapt to environmental stress and change. We use both lab and field studies, and both experimental and theoretical/computational work, to address these questions. We’re particularly interested in improving research tools, models, and their applications in agriculture and natural resource management.
