Our lab studies how plants interact with the biophysical environment, and particularly how leaves adapt to environmental stress and change. We use both laboratory and field studies, and both experimental and theoretical/computational work, to address these questions. We are particularly interested in improving research tools and models.
I moved to UC Davis from the University of Sydney at the start of 2018, after five years in Australia. Before that, I was at Sonoma State University in California for five years. Before that, well, it’s complicated, but there were seven years in each of Australia and Utah. The lab is in 3024 Wickson Hall on the UC Davis main campus.
